So here’s the deal…We are doing a “10 Days til Valentine’s Day” blog. We invite all of Teedra Moses fans to send in their good or bad Valentine’s Day stories, favorite love songs, and pictures. Whether its your current sweetie or past love, we want to hear it all! We will post one daily on www.TeedraMoses.net starting today countin down til the “R U 4Real“ Valentine’s Day Video release. Day 1: “Ok Teedra… It Was 4 years ago. Valentine’s Day Wekend, I planed the whole day, I went by her house and set up her room b4 she got home from work, made a hot steaming milk bath, rose petals from da door to the bathroom. Then DInner Was cooked, And Da Night Was Very, Very Adult I must Say… Come 2 Find Out The Next Morning I Dumped her becasue I found out dat She had cheated on me with several homies… (And I Mean Several) So Happy Valentine’s Day” ~Imma B Me Regardless

Day 2: “Hi Teedra, I think the best Valentine’s I had was when I finally had a Valentine. I spent numerous Valentine’s alone. Always wanting the real love but never finding the right person. Last year, I gave up on love. Soon as I stopped searching my prince came to me. I met him in January of 2010. Feb. 14 came around and I didn’t expect much. OMG, he made me feel like I was 16. I was nervous like it was my first date. Roses, dinner, and he even wrote me a poem. I think the highlight was when he said, u gon be my ol lady. I am still happy with him” ~Love lives in me, Sam

Day 3: Hey Teedra, Here’s my story i was talking to this dude that i was feeling we got to know eachother, would talk on the phone. One day we met up then started going together, i planned out how valentine’s day was going to go was so excited for it to happen. I told this significant other wouldn’t it be cute if they had the red dickies outfit wit white ups and I had the white dickies wit red ups, we’d buy eachother roses, a romantic evening together, but little did i know when valentine’s day came i couldn’t get in contact with them, found out they wasn’t feeling me the way i was feeling them, realized that they used me and didnt care for me the way i cared for them!!! my theme song is No More Tears, So Kool, and Realize, i’m not crying over no one no more… i’m better than that an so kooool, and i realize that i dont need them in my life!! Day 4: *so that the audience wont be confused, this about two girls* My Valentine story kinda goes back to when we first met back in 2007. It was by fate and was love at first site. I posted and ad a dating site. I was new to the area and wanted to met new people with the same interest as I. I saw her ad, it catch my eye but i didnt reply to it. A few hours later I got a response to my ad, say they like what they saw and that they post an ad them self (the same ad I saw earlier, but never replied to). Between then until 2010, we had been though so much (I even put her on you, bought her the Complex Simplicity album, and now she a fan like I) we been though good and bad times, times where we spent every minute texting talking or just laying up under each other and times where we didnt talk for months. Each and ever time we found our way back. On Valentines Day weekend 2010, we went to Japanese stake house (I love sushi and hibachi gills). She gave me a rose that opened up as a ring box, inside it was a plastic ring… *sarcastic smile*… I laugh it off and joked that it was so beautiful and how everybody would be jealous. Then she gave me a small silver and pink box, inside the box was a black velvet box, inside the black velvet box was a beautiful ring (a real one, lol). I hug and kissed her. When we got to her house, she gave me another box with a letter, charm bracelet (with the day we met engraved on one of the charms), and key to her house. Day 5: “Hey Teedra. Here’s an episode of my bad Valentine’s Day. I had never
bought a Valentine’s gift for a guy before, but I was feeling him in away that was so different than the others. So, I made my mind that wasgoing to get him something. Besides, it was Valentines Day. I went to Zales and picked out the perfect watch for him. I’d figure he was going to get my something BIG, since he’d always bought me nice things. On Valentines Day, I put the gift in my bag, and decided I was gonna give it to him after he gave me my gift. Welp, I guess I was
expecting too much because he didn’t get me anything. I kept the watch in my bag, went back to Zales and got my money back. When I look back-maybe I shouldve gave it to him, or not…”

Day 6: “I’ve never experience a real Valentines. Yes, I’ve had a guy buy me a gift and take me to get some food. I remember him picking me up and getting mad because his ex called and I looked at the phone. I also remember him getting out the car to speak with her on the phone. He did buy me a nice gift but he was cheating. I loved him with all my heart and expressed it daily. I knew Valentine’s would be another day for me because I show him 365 days. I thought he would make it special since I didn’t feel special any other day of the year. I think Valentine’s is a day where you are suppose to share your love. Its not a day where you should be forced to do something special for the lady or man in your life. No, there is no Valentine in my life this year. For the first time, I can honestly say my heart is open to accept and find love so I will have a great story to write you one year” ~Open for love

Day 7: “Hi to Teedra & her team!!! I know that I’m supposed to speak about a good or a bad V-Day experience. Well, I can’t because I’ve experienced none. In fact for me, Valentine’s Day is not only a special day for the lovers, it’s also a special day for the Love. And because I’ve never had the occasion (the chance?) to spend it with the one that I love,on this day I’m trying my best to love a little more the grown woman that I am. Because sometimes it can be hard for someone who doesn’t fit in any box, to find a place to feel good and complete. So every year, on this day Me,Myself & I have a little special convo! Some people may say that I’am crazy,but it helps me to stay focused on my goals & dreams, and to reassure myself about the future. Because no matter your skin, your weight, your look or anything else, you need confidence to find your path and it’s all up to you to have it surrounded by gloom or light. And to find confidence you first need to love yourself & believe in who you are. So that’s why on Valentine’s Day, it’s all about me, because to find someone who will love you for who you are you have to love yourself first…right? Day 9: “I haven’t received a real valentine’s card since elementary school. The last time I had a tingle in my stomach on Vday was when my first love gave me my first real gift. Ever since my first love, I had the cheaters, users, liars, and pretenders but never a man that really loved and appreciated me. I had a long realationship with a man but he never really loved me and Vday was like any other day. What is it like to share Valentine’s day with your real true adult love? I am waiting for that day. I pray to God that he sends me my real love because I am finally ready to accept and appreciate that man” ~Kim

Day 10: “The best Valentine I had was when my male friend picked me up to go out to eat on Valentine’s day. This date was nothing more than two single friends chilling together. As we sat and ate dinner I continued to look at him and smile. He trapped me in his conversation. We had so much in common. The only thing I wanted to do was kiss him for the first time. I knew he only saw me as a friend and work associated so I brushed it off. I remember we were in the car and he started to sing. He did not have a pretty voice but it melted my heart. I found myself falling for him in one night. He walked me to my door and gave me a hug. He kissed me on my head. I looked up at him and put my arms around his neck and kissed him on his lips.
